François de Mitry joins Wendel’s Supervisory Board

François de Mitry (55) has joined Wendel’s Supervisory Board. For 12 years, he has been a Director of Wendel-Participations SE, the Wendel group’s principal shareholder, and already has served as a member of Wendel’s Supervisory Board, from 2004 to 2012. François de Mitry has a deep knowledge of Wendel.

François de Mitry’s 30 years of experience in the investment industry, including through his work with the Astorg and ICG groups, is an asset for Wendel’s Supervisory Board.

He currently is Managing Partner at Astorg, an European investment fund with 11 billion euros in assets under management. In addition, based on his experience at ICG, he has a solid expertise regarding governance of listed companies.

François de Mitry joins the Audit, Risks and Compliance Committee. Thomas de Villeneuve is now a member of the Governance and Sustainability Committee.
